The indigenous Mayan population of the western highlands of Guatemala remains one of the most undernourished in the world despite beans, maize, and squash being domesticated in the Americas. MASFRIJOL is part of an effort to strengthen the USAID Mission to Guatemala's efforts to achieve its Feed the Future goals.
